Live Productions
360 Sports
360 Sports is a live, student-run sports talk show that airs four times a week and features unscripted discussion on the latest in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, college sports, and even UFC, tennis, and F1.
I work behind the scenes on every episode, helping with show set up, operating various school positions, and occasionally troubleshooting technical issues.
I also host our live F1 shows, which I script and outline to guide discussion and highlight key storylines. Additionally, I design all graphics for the F1 segments, from race previews to on-screen visuals. It’s a fast-paced role that combines my love for sports, media, and creative storytelling.
At The Desk - Live Election Coverage
The Race to 270 was a fully student-run live election night special, covering the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election in real time. The show featured breaking results, expert panel analysis, reporter check-ins, and interactive visuals bringing national politics to a college newsroom in a dynamic, accessible way.
As the show’s associate producer, I played a key role in shaping the broadcast from concept to execution. I helped design the show's branding and visual graphics, structured the script to balance breaking news with pre-planned segments, and contributed to the layout and flow of the live studio production. From coordinating transitions to supporting team communication throughout the night, I worked to ensure the broadcast was smooth, engaging, and informative.
GameShow 101
GameShow 101 is a fully student-run game show that brings two Penn State groups together and trivializes their commonalities. The show blends pop culture trivia, fast-paced challenges, and comedy into one entertaining package. Each episode features student contestants competing in a mix of question rounds, mini-games, and surprise twists.
As Executive Producer, I lead the production team through every phase of the show. From managing pre-production workflows to overseeing creative direction, I ensure each episode runs smoothly from planning to post. I handle scripting and segment planning, facilitate the design of custom graphics and visual elements, and coordinate with contestants.
Nittany Talk
Nittany Talk is Penn State’s very own SNL-style show, blending comedy, pop culture commentary, and student interviews into each week's episode. The live shows feature original student performances, a signature Weekday Update news parody, and guest appearances from Penn State athletes, influencers, club leaders, and more.
As Production Coordinator, I’m responsible for bringing each episode together behind the scenes. I work closely with the host of the week to script the show, including writing transitions, sketch setups, and crafting interview questions tailored to each guest. I also manage all information related to pre-recorded content, making sure it’s clearly incorporated into the live rundown.
In addition, I coordinate with our graphics team to create weekly visual elements, including lower thirds, credits, and custom Weekday Update graphics. Working on Nittany Talk has helped me grow as both a communicator and a creative producer, balancing structure with spontaneity to keep the show fresh and engaging week after week.
